This elegant vintage flower brooch has a nice sculptural quality. The brooch measures 2 1/2" x 2 1/4". It is signed "MARBOUX" with a copyright symbol on the back. This is a mark of Marcel Boucher, a French jeweller who came to the US in the 1920s and originally worked for the Mazer Brothers until he started his own company in 1937. He was active until his death in 1965, at which point his wife Sandra took over the company. In the early 1970s the company became part of Davorn Industries. I think this piece is likely from the 1960s.
